01 Sep Andy Bhatti Presents “Pros vs Joes” Celebrity Home Run Derby on Sept. 10th, 2023
As public awareness of Mental Health and Addictions has become increasingly prevalent in the Lower Mainland largely due to the ongoing opioid crisis, addiction interventionists Andy Bhatti, MLB Slugger and 2X World Series Champion Jonny Gomes from the Boston Red Sox, One of Canada’s Biggest Country Singer’s Dallas Smith and Country Artist Shawn Austin, Vancouver Canucks Alumni Chris Higgins, Dave Babych and Kirk McLean, UFC Alumni and Stunt Actor Jason Dooms Day, Actor Aleks Paunovic, and BC Lions Alumni Marco Iannuzzi, will be participating in a softball home run derby against local Softball Players & advocates for mental health. To help raise awareness on mental health and addictions.
On September 10th, 2023, Andy Bhatti, a local, well-known, and established Drug & Alcohol interventionist and Survivor of Sexual Abuse will be hosting this one-day public event in Langley, B.C. The event is free and open to anyone, with a focus on family and friends who have a loved one who struggles with addiction or mental health.
“Treatment for the addict is typically where the work begins and ends, failing to acknowledge the feelings and pain of those around them, such as family and friends,” according to addictions expert and interventionist, Andy Bhatti, who will be speaking to families for free at this event at the Andy Bhatti Interventions booth.
Many survivors of childhood trauma turn to drugs and alcohol to numb their pain. Our goal is to help them address these underlying issues and target the effects as a result of their trauma. This event has been put together to raise awareness of addiction, mental health, and trauma. Addiction Specialists from all over British Columbia and Toronto will have information booths with free information on what treatment, how to access it, and where to get free and private mental health services.
These treatment centers are all offering 2 free scholarship beds away. Each scholarship is worth between $35,000/bed to $40,000/ bed in scholarships, with free aftercare and sober living.
This is a non-alcoholic event, for all ages. Food will be available for purchase including hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks.
